Underworld at the Roundhouse

This week I’ve really been spoilt with live music. First Maschinenfest and last night Underworld at the Roundhouse.

I’ve never been too much of a fan of Underworld, my experience with them limited to dubnobassinmyheadman and of course Born Slippy .NUXX. As such, it’s difficult for me to critique the performance or comment the music. That said, it was easily one of the best gigs I’ve seen, uplifting from start ’til finish. Thanks to Live Here Now the entire gig was recorded and available 5 minutes after the band left the stage, so I’ve now got a good reminder of the show.

It was the first time I’d been to the Roundhouse and as a venue, it’s fantastic. Next month, I’m seeing UNKLE there. I can’t wait.
